Uniform design for Virgin Australia

In 2009, Juli was handpicked to re-design the uniforms for the international airline ‘Virgin Australia’, successfully transforming the uniform designs into contemporary yet timeless pieces.

Completely submersed within the design process from start to finish, Juli’s main aim was to bring old-world charm back into travel, whilst still providing practicality and a fresh modern look for all departments in Virgin Australia; from pilots to baggage handlers.

Officially launched in 2010 for the ‘Virgin Australia’ Inaugural flight to Abu Dhabi, the new uniform scheme was a huge success, and voted in the top 3 of the world’s airline uniforms.
